Praying Prodigals

About Me and My Blog
Up Close and Personal
For years, I learned many things about Jesus and considered myself a good person. I believed then, and still do, that Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died a brutal death, and rose on the third day. But I hadn't cultivated my relationship with Him. Knowing all of that, I still veered away from the path of Jesus to make bad choices in my life and live for myself instead of Him. My heart was filled with holes that I thought I could fill with education, a career, marriage, friends, kids, a house, car and pets. All of those things are blessings, but they can NOT take the place that belongs to Jesus. I have learned through many life experiences that
HE is the ONLY answer in life.
I have been a participant (and a leader at times) in Bible studies. During the pandemic, I used my time to dig deeper and become involved in some Zoom Bible study groups. I learned I am NOT alone in my faith. I gained support and encouragement from many sweet ladies who shared their hearts. Now, it is my hope that through sharing scriptures, my reflections, prayers, experiences, and thoughts that I might encourage anyone who visits this website.
I am a prodigal who has returned to her Father and is praying for those who have not yet found "the way, the truth and the life" and for those who have, and need to make the journey back to Jesus.
